LASIK Surgery
LASIK Surgery at Cottonwood Eye & Laser Center Of Utah corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism using advanced laser technology. This outpatient procedure reshapes the cornea, reducing dependence on glasses or contacts. Ideal for adults seeking clearer vision through a safe, FDA-approved method with rapid recovery.
Cataract Surgery
Cataract Surgery removes clouded natural lenses and replaces them with intraocular implants. Performed under topical anesthesia, this quick procedure restores clear vision for patients with age-related or injury-induced cataracts. We offer both traditional and premium multifocal lenses for customized vision correction.
Eye Exams
Our comprehensive Eye Exams evaluate visual acuity, eye health, and disease risk factors. Using advanced diagnostic tools, we detect conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration early. Services include routine screenings, contact lens fittings, and LASIK eligibility evaluations for all ages.
Glaucoma Treatment
Glaucoma Treatment focuses on preserving vision by controlling intraocular pressure. We employ medicated eye drops, laser therapy, and minimally invasive surgeries to prevent optic nerve damage. Regular monitoring ensures effective disease management and vision stability over time.
Diabetic Retinopathy Management
Diabetic Retinopathy Management combines regular dilated eye exams with laser treatments and injections to prevent vision loss. Our team monitors diabetes-related changes in retinal blood vessels, providing timely interventions to maintain ocular health for diabetic patients.

Questions
What vision correction surgeries do you offer?
We perform LASIK, LASEK, and PRK procedures for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Our surgeons help determine the best option based on your eye health and lifestyle needs.
How do I check if I'm a LASIK candidate?
Schedule a LASIK eligibility exam. Our specialists evaluate corneal thickness, visual prescription stability, and eye health to determine if laser vision correction suits your needs safely and effectively.
Do you treat childhood vision problems?
Yes, we provide amblyopia (lazy eye) treatment and comprehensive pediatric eye exams. Early detection and intervention help ensure proper visual development for children.
What happens during cataract surgery?
The cloudy lens is removed using ultrasound technology and replaced with an artificial intraocular lens implant. The procedure takes under 30 minutes and typically requires no stitches or needles.
How often should I get an eye exam?
Annual exams are recommended for adults over 40, diabetics, and those with vision changes. Children should be screened at 6 months, 3 years, and before first grade for optimal visual development.
Do you offer emergency eye care?
We treat urgent issues like eye injuries during regular business hours. For true emergencies outside office hours, we recommend visiting the nearest hospital emergency department.

I'm having an allergic reaction in my eye. Its burning like crazy! I went in to see them today and they prescribed me an eye drop medication. I went to pick it up a few hours later (when work would allow) and the pharmacy said nothing had been called in. Now the clinic is closed (30 min earlier than posted) and I'll have to suffer another night. I'm done. This is the second time they've forgotten to call in my prescriptions. Completely a waste of money today. I'm finding a new clinic.

I have so many good things to say about this place! The customer service is phenomenal and Doctors Steven and Alan Jackson are extremely knowledgeable and have excellent bedside manner. Dr Steve Jackson performed surgery on both of my eyelids and I wouldn't trust anyone else to perform the same surgery. I've been going to Cottonwood Eye & Laser Center for 11 years and unless I move away from Utah, I don't plan on it changing any time soon.

I felt like the Dr. was honest and tried to help me. Basic but good and fair I thought. I will be going back.
