Frequently Asked Questions
Report
What is an upper eyelid blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery)? Blepharoplasty (Greek: blepharo = eyelid +plasty = to change) is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed in facial plastic surgery. Our eyes are one of the first places that show signs of aging. As we age we develop redundant skin on the eyelids which unfortunately makes us look tired.
Blepharoplasty
Report
Eyelid surgery, technically called blepharoplasty, is a procedure to remove excess skin-usually along with some eyelid fat pads and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes - features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision.
