Mohs surgery was initially developed by Dr. Fredrich Mohs. This allows more accurate removal of the cancer while preserving the maximum amount of healthy skin, thereby reducing the resulting wound & therefore the scar. You can take any regular medications prescribed by your physician. But it is recommended to discontinue any non-prescribed agents, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Aleve, herbal supplements, vitamin E, fish oil, ginko biloba, garlic for 14 days prior to surgery.Prescription anticoagulants & daily aspirin therapy may be temporarily discontinued with the approval of your prescribing physician to decrease bleeding and bruising.

Went to Dr. Chu to have rosacea cleaned up on my nose. He showed me power point pictures of the work that he could do. He also explained that this process would give me a pink nose for a couple of months and that would be it. I went back today for my last appointment (8 months later) I have a nose that is all scars and nostrils that go half way up my nose. This guy totally messed me up. I give him a 1 star because I had no choose. Also staff tried to charge me 40.00 for each of my last 2 visits even thu all was payed up front.

In addition to his comprehensive knowledge of dermatology/aesthetics/cosmetic surgery, Dr Chu is at the forefront of technology. He has 13-14 lasers plus other devices to perform a wide variety of treatments. He invests money & time learning, acquiring & maintaining his arsenal of equipment. He used the new PicoSure laser to treat dark spots on my skin. At followup, he so generously re-treated my many sun-damaged areas at no charge to ensure excellent results & a happy patient. It worked! Highly recommend!

Dr. Chu is a highly-regarded cosmetic dermatologist in the area. I've seen him a couple of times, and each time he's patient and friendly. He listens to you and provides you with reasonable, mostly cost-effective options for your skin treatment. It takes a while to get in to see Dr. Chu -- so make your appointment well in advance, if possible. The wait has never been excessive.

Dr Chu is an excellent dermatologist with a very modern office which I appreciate. You just feel good when you walk in. The staff from the front desk, the assistant and the appointment scheduler you see on the way out are very professional and you know your needs will be met. It does take awhile to get an appointment so be sure to place to wait a few weeks or a month.
