The staff at Perich Seven Springs office are the rudest bunch of people I have ever encountered in a physician's office! Absolutely zero compassion for their elderly patients and their family members. I have had many encounters with rude staff and the entire Seven Springs office and the doctors/examiners are impatient with the elderly patients as well.

I had my 91 year old mother in last week and the examiner was impatient with her because she could not hear his instructions. Then when checking out and trying to make an appointment for a procedure I was told my mom's Medicaid provider was "not on their list". When I check with the provider they gave me a list and what do you know. Perich was right at the top! Note to Perich: When you are providing services to the elderly, check your attitude at the door!

I will be having surgery at Perich eye center and so far they have excelled in all areas of examination and treatment. So, at least for now I am giving the center a 5 star rating, I will give COMPLETE and detailed review after my surgery. My reviews are honest and well known with over 15,000 views. Thank you for your organized and very professional treatment so far! So, here I am, 2 months after having the lid lift (which I really needed and was paid for by my health insurance, due to the fact that my lids truly impaired my vision) and after paying $3300 extra to have the bottom lids adjusted for sagging and puffiness and a brow tuck performed. (because I hate the thought of looking old).

I am told to be patient, that it can take up to 6 months for things to settle down and the swelling to go away. I will be back with pictures when that time has passed. Currently, I am honestly pretty disappointed because the area just above my eyes is very puffy and lays on my top lids. I was told that skin would be gone and that I should do the brow tuck to make the look complete.

I really hope all this shrinks and recedes or I will need find someone to fix this. I have adjusted my review to a 3 until a couple more months have passed. For now, waiting. I'll be back with pictures.

The people at Parish Eye Center are Fabulous and dedicated professionals who help make everyone feel special. They are kind, caring and reassuring, ater all, I'm having cataract surgery on both eyes. For me to my worse scenarios is to not be able to see or read!

Horrible experience except for Shannon! They send you several reminders days in advance of your appointment time. Including phone calls and another email this morning. I showed up on time and I waited for 45 minutes before I finally said something. Additionally when I arrived, they make you sign a document that says that if you're going to be late you will be charged.

Where is their obligation in this arrangement? Simply put they don't care. It was only after I complained to Shannon that my concern was addressed. She was customer focused. It's shocking to me that the review number is at 4.8 on this website. Finally I had to fill out seven pages worth of documentation that I filled out 18 months ago. It's frustrating when your insurance doesn't change and your address doesn't change that you still have to answer the same questions that were asked 18 months ago. Processes are broken.

During my examination I expressed my concerns to the doctor including refilling out seven pages of paperwork. He said I wholeheartedly agree with you. I want you to talk to the office manager. After I was done they came back and said the office manager doesn't want to see you, he prefers to call you. That speaks volumes about the culture of this organization. Update: I failed to mention that the staff at this center seems to be on edge.

I witnessed a technician being rough verbally with a woman in a walker in her mid 70s to early 80s. Additionally the doctor that saw me told me that he wanted me to address this with the office manager, who is the brother of the owner. He agreed with me that things need to change. The manager who schedules the appointments also pleaded with me to address my concerns with the doctor.

She has taken patient's complaints to administration but nothing gets changed. And as of this update the office manager and I have not talked. If I were in his shoes, I would make this conversation a priority. He has chosen not to.

I had an early appointment at 8:30 am. I was in and out by 9:10. Everyone is very caring and professional. I first went to Perich 3 years ago and they found the glasses I had were way to strong for me. I am pleased as I no longer have to wear glasses to drive at night and on readers for small print.

Dr. Perich is amazing! I had pain in one of my eyes after a piece of metal cut my cornea while doing yard work. I went to another ophthalmologist three times and they told me there was nothing there and that I would have to deal with the pain forever. After dealing with the pain for months every morning, I woke up one day and the pain was substantially worse.

I found Dr. Perich and their receptionist, Melanie, was able to fit me in within an hour. Dr. Perich immediately located the foreign object within my eye and was able to remove it within moments of seeing me. I have not had pain in my eye since! The office staff is incredible! I highly recommend each of their locations!

I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist, given documentation to be completed, before I could end the first page, the technician called for me to begin the exam. It was done with the utmost care and professionalism. Saw the Dr. Kudryk in a matter of minutes, the whole examination was conducted within an hour. The Perich Eye Center is the best known.

Have seen Dr. Perich for over 12 years. I have had 2 cataract surgeries. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. I wear a +1.00 reading glass only when I read for a long period of time. Thank you, Dr. Perich and his great staff.

They purposely put the wrong lenses in! Had cataract surgery performed in Sept/Oct of 2021 and upgraded lenses which I paid out of pocket for. When meeting with an optics technician in July, we agreed that I was to have mono-vision - one eye near and the other for distance. My issue was distance and the tech explained that there would be a very noticeable improvement to eliminate my astigmatism - they only draw back was that I may require reading glasses.

I was ok with that. Well as it turns out, someone decided behind MY BACK to not give me mono-vison. I did not know about this till after the procedures - the limitations to my distance were still very noticeable plus the fact that the astigmatism was still apparent. After about 8 feet objects become blurry and out of focus. Complained to them numerous times about this and they insisted my vision was improved by determining what lines I am able to read on a vision chart! Bait and switch.

Their logic for not giving me mono-vision is that if I accidentally go blind in one eye, I will be handicapped! Sure and a meteor could fall on me one day, also. I filed a grievance with Humana. We'll see were this goes, but I am one unsatisfied customer.

I needed an additional test after my regular eye exam. Every other place I called wanted to charge a ridiculous amount. This place was very reasonable and I was glad to have been able to see them. Everyone was very nice, however I took off one star because I actually had a difficult time scheduling with the receptionist when I called to schedule. She told me it would be awhile before I would be seen, and she told me the names of at least 2 other places to call to see if they had earlier appointments (which I had previously called, but they were too expensive for someone with no insurance).

She acted as if she didn't want to schedule it. I told her that regardless of the wait, I still wanted to schedule. The doctor was knowledge and experienced (and funny).

A very professional office place. The reception staff could be a little more friendly but they were also very busy. The back office staff were also great. I especially love that this is a one stop, complete eye care facility and whatever your eyes need you can get it there. I will highly recommend Perich to everyone and anyone. I just wrote this review after a first time visit.

I would like to add that when I first called for a routine eye exam the first available appointment was a 3 month wait. I cut the reception staff a little break BUT after reading the other poor ratings I realized I was being too polite. They were curt, dry and unfriendly. Buy my nurse was nice, Susanna I think. My Dr was dry and but very thorough and helpful. So, I suggest you read the poor ratings before you decide to have surgical procedures done there. I was very shocked to see how these patients were treated. Therefore I am changing my rating to a 3. Sorry folks.

I first tried to schedule an appointment with the Wesley Chapel office. That should had been a revelation. I told the "lady" that answered the phone that I had a referral for a routine exam and needed to schedule an appointment. Off the bat she said with an attitude that the referral needed to be faxed by my PCP and she would not allow scheduling an exam until they had it faxed to them.

I then proceeded to call my PCP and asked them to fax it over. After waiting a day and a half, I called the Wesley Chapel office again and this time was told that they were not scheduling routine eye exams for that office. Among the offices mentioned that could do it, she mentioned the Zephyrhills office. I then called the Zephyrhills office (Zephyrhills Eye Institute) and the person that answered the phone told me that it wasn't necessary for my PCP to fax the referral, that I could just bring it with me, which I did.

The front desk clerk/receptionist was "Spartan". Efficient in what she does, but stern-faced. She probably was frustrated working there and later on that realization clicked into place. If you desire going to an office where there's plenty of attitude, you'll find plenty there. Frustration there bleeds through the walls. Not only with the tech but also with the attending ophthalmologist (optometrist?) who performed the eye exam.

I can understand that people can get frustrated, especially during these times, but there's no reason to develop and exhibit unpleasant attitudes that reflect flagrant rudeness. So if you want to go to a place where they will treat you with an attitude, bordering on rudeness and reflecting frustration, that's where you want to be. You'll get plenty there.

I was told that but for incipient cataracts related to age, everything else was fine. But I don't trust them. How could I? You tell me. Even though my pupils were dilated, they let me leave without proper instructions. First and last time I go there. Beware!

I had an appointment yesterday. They called to remind last week and then sent me a text message reminder 4-1/2 hours before the appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early, but their door was locked. You knock and hope they hear because there is no acknowledgement. I stood around outside and hoped those dark clouds don't bring rain. Ten minutes after I knocked, they came to the door and were not aware of my appointment even though they had just reminded me of it!

They went back inside leaving me standing outdoors and I waited, and waited, and waited. I have a problem with my feet, but there was no place to sit so it was getting quite uncomfortable. They came back once, asked a couple questions and left. After about a half hour, they finally said they could not see me even though they reminded me of the appointment it just hours beforehand.

They did not apologize or explain their actions. They just offered to reschedule me for the next week. Look, I understand that scheduling problems can happen, but how do they drop me from their schedule a little over four hours after they reminded me? Making me stand out on the sidewalk for a half hour with hurting feet hoping it didn't rain while I waited for them to figure out their mistake is even more difficult to accept.

Hearing them casually dismiss their mistakes without any apparent concern or remorse and expecting me to reschedule for their convenience was too difficult for me to overcome.

It's one thing when doctors' offices run behind. It's expected, right? What I don't expect is to have an 80-year old scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and not be taken until 12:00.and there's no less than 10 other people also scheduled for 8 a.m. and sitting here still waiting. WTH. You can't schedule even 15 minutes apart? It's not that big a facility to even think you can take 10 patients at once.

And there's still more people coming in throughout the morning with later appointments. On top of that, there's one bathroom for all 10 patients who each have an escort. so 20 people. Oh, and no plugs work, so be sure you charge your phone before you come sit alllllll day.

Very unprofessional and very I'm polite pyramex recommend you find somewhere else to go. Call for appointment for 18 year old mother who thought she had something serious happened to her eye. They should all we don't think it's anything to worry about probably just dry eye. I asked for an appointment they said the soonest they could get me in a rush tomorrow but they could transfer me to SpringHill from New Port Richey see if they could get me in earlier I said great.

After getting transfer again this office was also very rude and put me on hold for 10 minutes, they said they cannot get her in for a week or two. Ask them to transfer me back to New Port Richey because they said they had an appointment for us tomorrow at 3:30. They can transfer me to that office even though that office transferred me from them to spring Hill. Seems fishy and they couldn't even tell me the phone number.

I called back to New Port Richey office and told them that someone there just said we could get an appointment tomorrow at 3:30 she said she didn't believe someone would say something like that and asked me to go on hold. 10 minutes later she came back and said sorry we don't have an appointment at 3:30 anymore it's been filled. They act like they don't know what's going on there they are very good at diagnosing people over the phone and telling you that it's nothing to worry about.

I will be taking my mom either to the ER or a reputable eye doctor and will keep you updated on the seriousness or if she loses vision. Don't go there unless you like being treated poorly terrible customer service I would give a negative review but one star is the least I can give find someplace else.

I'm taking the time out to post because the Professionalism & Mannerisim of Dr. Perich, Dr. Kundryk always for my personal exsperiance went hand in hand when present for office visits and in today's Society unfortunately it's not that way but your treated just as a number, but never did I ever have this exsperiance at Perich Eye Clinic with any of the Doctors but always, Professional, Caring Visits that definitely set them aside from any where I had ever been with my needing to be seen.,T hey were always outstanding the only regret is they now don't take my Insurance are I'd still be there.

Highly unprofessional from the beginning I make and appointment and then asked if they took Care Credit. I was told yes After I checked in at 1:25 for a 1:30 appointment they finally asks for payment at 1:55. They then told me they could not take that form of payment and the manager told me she could not make an exception even though they told me on the phone that they could.

Half hour wait and I asked a technician how much longer. They said they had not received the chart from the front desk yet. While all this is happening a bunch of employees are laughing it up quite loudly and all of the waiting room can hear them as they were eating pizza. As 8 people wait in the waiting room Like most Doctors office these days they have no problem charging you if you don't show Buy they have no problem never sticking to the time or giving you the courtesy of letting you know how long after the appointment that you showed up for, that you will actually see a doctor

Worst place ever! I am new to Medicare and was assigned to this place. I thought I may have gotten glass in my eye and had to wait almost a week and a half from the time I first called them before they could see me. My medicare paperwork said $0 copay and the Medicare provider told me $0 copay when I was assigned there. The "emergency" was over by the time of my appointment and for peace of mind I just wanted someone to look in my eye to be sure everything was OK but they argued with me that I owed a $30 co-pay because this was not a routine eye exam but an emergency exam.

I maintained that I was never told that I needed a co-pay, (although they more or less called me a liar because they said they did tell me on the phone) and I said the emergency was over at this point and they could have seen me briefly and changed it to an exam with zero co-pay. I was not prepared so I did not bring money or a debit/credit card with me.

In any event, they were rude, I was embarrassed because everyone in the waiting area could hear the conversation. Bottom line. They refused to see me and let a 65 year old woman leave their practice without knowing if my eye was okay over a $30 co-pay that was not communicated to me on the phone when I made the appointment. I mean seriously folks, why would I have traveled all the way down there without a co-pay if I had known that I needed a $30 co-pay?

What a racket. Stay away from this place if you can. I called my Medicare provider to let them know how I was treated, filed a complaint, and they re-assigned me to a different eye doctor.

Had a caterac removed in March everything went well and I made an appointment to have the other eye done when I returned from up North in the fall. I get back the end of October, drove the seventeen miles on my motor scotter and they refused to see me because I had left my credit card at home and couldn't pay my $30 co pay. So they had been paid thousands of dollars for the one eye and we're about to make thousands more but they turn me away for a lousy $30 dollars, greed is powerful and very disturbing.

They were borderline 0ppp0rude which made it worse. They really made me feel like a fool. My insurance company agreed with me and helped me find another doctor to due the surgery

I want to give them 1 star but that really would not be fair because I never saw a doctor. My review is of a single employee with no people skills and an extreme "whatever" attitude. Because of her I walked out of my first appointment and will never return.

I have been to the Tampa, Wesley Chapel & now New Port Richey offices. I have worn glasses dice I was a child, what a pain in Florida! Different seasons glasses fog up & with the humity, they are plain hot & slippery. I had a cataract removed in December, 2017 & all went well. You are awake during the surgery, they give you something to relax you, so you are not able to drive home after the surgery.

The surgery itself is only about 15 minutes long & absolutely painless. Once surgery is complete you are ready to be driven home. Really quite easy for a fantastic result. Great staff & my Dr. Was Dr. Perich himself, top of the line. There are various drops you take prior to surgery to prep the eye. The are drops after the surgery to promote healing & no infections. No pain, no discomfort, just 20/ 20 vision. What's a girl to do? It's normally best to see what you are doing!

One of the worst decision I have made, using Perich to have my cataract surgery. It was an assembly line like experience where quantity seem more important than quality. After several return visits with a number of their Drs. each giving a different reason(excuse) for why I have a large obstruction in my vision, I went to a different eye center and more professional Dr. who explained to me that, in all probability the surgery cause my issue and to correct it will require a risky surgery. I wasted my money and my time with Perich. Would not recommend them, more because they seemed to be apathetic to my condition and more interested is getting rid of me.

This is the most client focused eye clinic I have ever visited. My mother has macular degeneration and requires very specialized care. Here at Perich Eye Center she gets the best care possible. The front desk staff are well informed and responsive. I highly recommend this eye center for all of your eye needs. They have truly exceeded my expectations.

I have been going to Perich Eye Center for years for contacts and glasses and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend the new optometrist Dr. Quinn, she always takes her time and is very thorough. All of the staff make sure you feel like family. I have gone in to the office and dealt with some long wait times, however it is worth it, and it is because so many patients trust in their care that they remain so busy.

I was thrilled with my experience here! The staff is professional, yet friendly. My exam was thorough and everyone took the time to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Jan in the eyewear boutique was fabulous! Not only did she help me find some gorgeous frames but made some great suggestions that saved me money on the lenses (no small feat considering my prescription). Plus my insurance covered my visit which I was not expecting. I'll definitely be back again!
