These people don't even desire a one-star review. I made an appointment for my husband over 2 months ago for cataract surgery. This was the soonest appointment that I could find in my medical plan. Upon getting to the appointment 50 minutes early, my husband placed his information on a clipboard that a sticker system for their appointments. We sat there for the 50 minutes while others were called in their appointments that showed up after we did.

When my husband approached the desk about his appointment, they asked him if he had signed the sticker sheet, and we stated yes. Well can't find his sticker or his chart; but I did watch her look at their appointment sheet that was taped to the desk, and he was there. The clerk stated we don't have his sticker, is it one of these? We stated No, because they were not.

They seemed to think that the sticker was his only entrance to his appointment. We hadn't even filled out the paperwork for a first time visit or had they asked for his driver license or insurance. They had called a couple of days ago asking for the referral for the appointment in which I called the other doctor and gave them the fax number to send it to them.

This eye place called us and asked for the referral; so, to me that means he was on their schedule for the day we went. They are the most inadequate business that I had ever seen. This was our only shot to get cataract surgery before we lost our current insurance. Thanks for nothing.

I have cancelled 3 times my appointment with Dr. Cartwright because of their burocracy. Their policy is more about paperwork than patient care. It's a shame they care more about the money than the wellness of a patient.

My appointment was more than an hour ago and I arrived a very early hour and they still haven't called me. They send us to wait in the car with the sun and as much as possible after so much waiting the Dr will attend you for 5 minutes.

Im sure all the bad reviews are deleted by now Do not please do not go to this location! But if you have to make an appointment make sure you ask any little detail you can think of. They waited until the day before the appointment to tell me i need a referral never told me what kind of referral because i did had a referral but they said they need it a referral from my primary doctor (go figure ) cause my glass doctor was the one that gave me the referral.

How much time do i have the day before to get a referral! They don't care you loose a work day much less your pay for that day! I feel for those that don't have a choice of going to a better doctor's office.

Staff shows no empathy on others time. I Received a phone call 30min before my appointment to inform me that the doctor was running 3 hours late due to complications during surgery. That is completely understandable. However she was not clear at all on that I had to arrive on my original scheduled time. I clearly asked her ok so I around 1:30pm I'll get seen, she said yes.

Then I get a call @ 11:30am that I missed my appointment. This is lack of training, lack of ethics, direct and clear communication to the client/patient basic costumer service skills. Once I spoke to the manager she states that the doctor has surgery again at 1pm so hmmmm. it would have been imposible for him to see me at 1:30pm. So form the start the call was not effective and with all intention of not being clear so my appointment gets canceled. Oh but the manager found an appointment available a month from today.

This isn't my first issue but it will be my last. you make a patient wait 12+ hours on the day of surgery to eat or even drink and then wait over 30 minutes ( and counting) to even check in for surgery. no one in the building cares not even the doctor. He spends less than 5 minutes a patient. so thankfully once this part is done we are done with this office

If a zero star was an option I would use it. let's start with the front office. RUDE is just a summary. then the wait time. I am talking potential hours! how the heck can one office be so busy? the doctor spends maybe 2-3 min with each patient and the techs and nurses don't even bother to know your name. it's quite the money maker. push guests in and back out. my family had surgery here and that all went fine. but everything else. a joke! If we could start over with another place I would

Dr Cartwright did my blepharoplasty surgery. It came out amazing. He did an excellent job and I am so happy with the results. Well worth the wait times. Some reviewers complained that he takes medicaid patients. I find that very admirable and do not mind waiting with others who are on Medicare or Medicaid. Everyone deserves quality medical care. I will admit some of the office staff are more friendly and professional than others but I find that with most places. The surgery team was the best and I'm so happy I had such a skilled surgeon.

My husband was able to get an appointment, he is having an eye emergency. He has the insurance card, ID - the refuse to process him. Why, they request he get me (subscriber) & the insurance company on the phone. When I inquired why, the woman was unprofessional & stated because they insurance card is in my name & we need to verify. Well where I come from that's your job! Unbelievable! This place is a zoo, I would not recommend any type of eye treatment!

I have reported the Orange Avenue office to the Department of Health. I arrived for my 8 am appointment this morning and there was a line of about 8 masked people (social distancing) outside waiting to get in. The office was not yet open. A sign on the door indicated that patients must sign in at the office and then wait in their cars to be called in due to Covid precautions.

More people arrived after me and it appeared that at least one of them had the exact same appointment time as I did with the same doctor. When I finally got to the front of the line, I saw that the small, dark waiting room was already packed with people waiting for their appointments. No one was waiting in their car and no social distancing precautions were taken.

I cancelled my appointment immediately because I was afraid for my safety. I should have read the online reviews of this facility first as many other people complained about similar unsafe conditions there. In addition, when I tried to call the office to speak to them, every automated choice selection resulted in "We are unable to connect you the party requested." This practice could be a Covid hotspot. Beware.

The doctors are phenomenal, however the receptionist and some of the staff in the Kissimmee office are horrible. The receptionist on the second floor has No people skills, completely unprofessional and very rude. It very sad that these 2 incredible doctors have these incompetent people representing them.

Dr. Cartwright is an amazing surgeon! He took a tumor out of the side of my face and I have recovered beautifully! I am so grateful to him for performing such procedure on me and making me look like I never had anything done at all. I recommend him highly! His staff is also nice to work with. In my opinion his success is a result of his experience.
