Stay away from him please! Its been two years since my fat injections from my stomach. My eyes will never be the same again. I still carry lumps that show up anywhere around my eyes. I wear sunglasses all the time. I looked better before he touched me. This is just an update.

The BEST in the business! Dr. Jelks is a a brilliant surgeon who is honest, warm and caring with a fantastic bedside manner. I have gotten a few procedures by Dr. Jelks and I wouldn't trust anyone else. A true professional in every sense of the word. His nurses and entire staff are wonderful and his Park Avenue townhouse office is absolutely beautiful to boot.

I went to Dr. G. Jelks for blepharoplasty several years ago, but while talking about the surgery I told him I had lots of stress between my eyebrows - something one normally gets botox for. He suggested that he could cut the muscle at the front of each eyebrow and that would take away the stress. He NEVER told me that would cause those clipped muscles to roll up like window shades and leave scars - actually valleys - in my forehead.

So now I two troughs running straight up from my eyebrows to my hairline! I had to cut bangs to cover them. Even worse, the troughs are getting worse as the years go by! So while Dr. Jelks did an excellent job on my eye lift, he scared me forever by doing a procedure he should NEVER have done. I honestly don't think he knew what he was doing at all in this regard.

I talked to other doctors afterwards and they said Jelks should never have done this procedure, because it always causes the window shade effect. I tried to see him several times after the troughs started appearing. He would never see me, never talk to me about it or if it could be fixed.
