Florida Plastic Surgery Institute Cosmetic surgery is clearly no longer just for the rich and famous. More importantly, cosmetic surgery can offer a wide range of benefits to almost everyone. Some of the most common cosmetic plastic surgery procedures are listed below. Other procedures performed by The Florida Plastic Surgery Institute include BOTOX Injections and Lip Enhancement.

Cosmetic plastic surgery includes surgical and non-surgical procedures to improve the appearance of the face and entire body. In general, cosmetic plastic surgery may be recommended to improve physical features or reduce the visible signs of aging. Healthy individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations are appropriate candidates for cosmetic procedures. The decision to have cosmetic plastic surgery is your choice and should be motivated by your personal desire.

The most favorable outcomes from plastic surgery are those where patient and surgeon communicate openly and work together to achieve realistic goals. It is important that during your plastic surgery consultation you:

* Discuss your goals - what you want to improve, restore or repair.
* Share your expectations for the outcomes of your procedure - what you hope surgery can physically and emotionally achieve in your case.
* Define your motivation or desire for wanting to undergo plastic surgery -- what is your compelling reason for seeking plastic surgery.

An understanding of your goals, expectations and motivation is essential to a successful partnership between you and your surgeon, helping both of you to determine whether plastic surgery is the right choice for you.

Dear Dr. Prevel,

I had the most wonderful experience with the surgery itself, the staff and most especially the surgeon who is the most wonderful, compassionate and caring man. Dr. Prevel's bedside manner is gentle, professional, and very warm. I felt as though my comfort was of the utmost importance to him. If I ever needed any additional plastic surgery I would travel any distance to hear Dr. Prevel and his wonderful staff take care of me. I am forever grateful I found such a caring and sincere physician. I am so pleased with the fantastic results of both my surgeries!

I felt you told me the facts about my procedures including what to expect afterwards, instead of telling me what you thought I wanted to hear. I felt as if you wanted me to understand the procedures and not just go with the flow.

I felt very confident in Dr. Prevel's abilities and his background (teaching, board certified). He was very honest with me about every detail and what to expect. I had a lot of trust in him!
