Services
A proper contact lens fitting not only insures the best visual correction but, also, provides the most comfortable wear of contact lenses. The age spectrum for contact lens wearers has broadened significantly. Each group has different contact lens requirements; and regular contact lens evaluation is critical to a successful contact lens experience.
A good refraction and eyeglass fitting provides the best visual correction as well as the comfortable wearing of eyeglasses. As we age, our need for glasses can change. Each age group has different needs and a regular refraction is important to a successful experience. In addition to routine eyeglass prescriptions for distant and near vision, we also provide specialty glasses for various medical needs.
Regular eye examinations can detect early loss of sight from cataracts. Inside the eye, there is a crystalline lens which gets cloudy as we age. Initially, the effect is small with minor change in the vision. With time, however, more mature cataracts can compromise our sight with blurring, haziness, glare, or loss of color saturation.
Most of us have experienced that foreign body sensation that happens if the wind blows dust or sand under an eyelid. That uncomfortable feeling must be relieved and quickly. For many of us, that same feeling of grittiness, dryness, burning or stinging or even excessive tearing cannot be relieved simply and could be the sign of a chronic condition known as Dry Eye Syndrome.
It is important to realize that Dry Eye Syndrome is a chronic condition for most patients. As such, a sensible, long term management plan is needed to provide the desired relief. Good patient education and realistic expectations will help the patient follow the recommended treatment plan over a sustainable period.

The medical staff is great-kind, patient, thorough, provide good care. This is what kept my family coming back to the clinic for 12 years and I've overlooked several problems I've had with the office staff. After each visit, I told myself I wouldn't be coming back because of the way we were treated by the office staff and the behaviors we noticed from them.

The office staff is at best unprofessional and at worst unethical. One woman who works up front is rude and unfriendly. She appears annoyed to be doing her job, is frequently gossiping on the job, and speaks ill of patients. She makes you feel not welcome and an annoyance. If you think your privacy matters, it does not by this woman. As soon as you leave, she will be speaking of your medical care and gossiping about your personal affairs.

On a recent visit, my children overheard her speaking badly about my one child. She was literally shouting "OH MY GOD" because my toddler was having a brief, maybe 2 minute meltdown. I have given them enough chances to finally say enough is enough and we will not be back. You can find excellent medical care with a friendly, ethical, and professional office staff somewhere else.
