There's a new laser vision correction option in town. We are proud to offer SMILE (SMall Incision Lenticule Extraction), a minimally invasive procedure designed to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contacts for patients with myopia (nearsightedness), thin corneas, and/or chronic dry eye. SMILE can produce similar visual results to LASIK vision correction. Good candidates for laser vision correction (LASIK or SMILE) will have healthy corneas, no eye disease, a stable vision prescription for at least one year, and be at least 18 years of age.

Having laser vision correction is a big decision and, like most people, you probably have some questions and concerns. Several factors have to be taken into consideration so you can make an informed decision. How to choose a surgeon, what kind of results you can expect, the cost of the procedure, the type of technology used, and your expectations all play an important part of your decision-making process. We've assembled all the information here we think you will need to make an informed decision.
