I went to Dr. Echavez for Voluma filler in the cheeks and restylane filler under the eyes. I'm very happy with the results. He is very careful and has a great aesthetic eye. I've gotten Voluma before from another injector and wish I had gone to Dr. Echavez instead. Highly recommend!

I have been receiving facial filler injections for over 15 years and Dr. Echavez by far injects more gently and carefully than any other doctor I have seen. I barely feel the injections and there's no discomfort afterwards. Oh, and the results are great too!

Dr. Echavez has an amazing eye for aesthetic injectables and surgery. I've worked in the the aesthetic industry for many years and he's my go-to provider in the city. Don't ruin your life by getting a procedure done with this guy. What a horrible doctor. The fact that he's still even licensed is mind blowing. The deformity you'll have on your face is something you'll live with for a long time so avoid at all costs. There are complaints already with the medical board on this so called doctor. Rude and uncaring.

I've been going to Dr. Echavez for the past 20 or so years and I have to say that I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've had multiple procedures done at his office. From the removal of broken capillaries, to the removal of moles, tags etc, to Botox and fillers. He's always professional, never rushed and thoroughly precise. He has an excellent bedside manner and is painless both in his procedures and on the pocketbook. I highly recommend his services and I couldn't be happier with the results we've achieved.

Echavez should have his license revoked. The guys got no personality or bedside manners but that's the least of it. He's a butcher like the other review stated. He doesn't care at all about his patients. Just wants a quick one and done. He doesn't give advice either. The monster just basically told me to tell him where to inject and what to do. Are u serious? You're the doctor!

He ruined my face and now I have to find another doctor to fix what he's done. Stay away from this guy unless you want your face ruined too. I'm going to report him to the medical board

I have been seeing Dr Echavez for over 2.5 years ever since I saw him back in April 2014 when he (perfectly) fixed a Belotero job that a SF dermatologist had placed incorrectly. He is very talented with his work and also very kind. His office assistant Karla is also great. They never fail to call after any visit and they genuinely care about your results, pocketbook, appearance and feelings. I highly recommend.

Dr. Echavez is an honest, REAL, person who works with clients collaboratively, unlike many other surgeons who are in age-denial, superficiality land. He will patiently describe various treatment modalities when you inquire but will never push anything on you. I have been seeing him for around 8 years for Sculpra Aesthetic treatments as I was no longer a good candidate for Restalyne according to another Dr. who referred me to Dr. Echavez, the reason being I needed too many Restalyne treatments to make a difference, and that would make it very costly.

Although Sculpra does not last as long as I would have liked on me (maybe only 6-8 months) I am pleased with the results of more fullness in the somewhat hollowed-out areas of my face. (I have a thin face to begin with). As I have ruled out plastic surgery as an option that feels right for me, I will plan on continuing to see Dr. Echavez for this particular treatment!

Dr Echavez is a butcher. He made me sign a clearance form while I was sedated for a forehead lift. He left my forehead with a massive scar that took over 5 years to heal. Beware of this doctor. There are far better out there. Don't let this happen to you. He refused to correct anything, as I had signed a consent form while sedated.

This review is long over due. Dr. Echavez removed a large, dark, freckle spot off the bridge of my nose. Removing the spot off the bridge part of my nose, requires careful skill. Not easy suturing a tight area like the bridge of my nose! The procedure was done beautifully and painless. Thank you so much! My apologies for this over due review, and again, thank you so much!

I move a lot, so I've gone to a bunch of doctors for botox and fillers over the course of the past 7 years. But I'm so glad I'm back in the bay to come back to Dr. Echavez. Dr. Echavez brings a level of taste and competence to the whole world of "New Beauty" style self improvement that I haven't seen in any of the other doctors I've had in NYC, LA, or Boston.

For example, at a recent trip to his office I asked him about a few of the latest treatments that I read about--and I was prepared to get them if he deemed it worthwhile. He was honest with me, and told me it didn't make sense to get those procedures yet.even though it might have meant money to him in the short term. Also, I like that he does mini consultations with me every time I see him just to make sure I agree with his plan for injection placements--even though they are always very natural looking, with or without my input. I've been to many a (well meaning, but too rushed) doctor that just jumped immediately into poking me with syringes willy nilly.

Not only is his skill top notch. He's also very affordable. I often go into see him with a plan on how much I want to spend. I'll say something like, "400 bucks, but I want forehead and crow's feet." And every time, he makes it work with my budget. Magic man:) Dr. Echavez strikes me as having too much class to ever actually self merchandise, hence the surprisingly low number of reviews on Yelp! thus far.

But this is a clear case of being under appreciated, or of his current patients being strategic enough to keep their secret to themselves. But I figure I'll be a nice girl and share. Pssst, five stars!

Dr. Echavez is fantastic! I was a bit nervous at first about having any cosmetic procedure, but he carefully explained everything and there was no pressure to do it. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. I first did the coolsculpting and was very pleased with the results. I went back to have it done in other areas - all with great results.

I also had Dr. Echavez perform blepharoplasty on my droopy eye lids. I was really nervous about that because of the plastic surgery horror stories you hear about. However, when I was checking into the hospital, EVERY one I met at the hospital raved about his careful and professional work. The head nurse said he was everyone's choice for the blepharoplasty procedure because he is so methodical and careful to achieve a very natural-looking result. just enough but not too much. And, they were correct - he did a wonderful job in making my heavy eye-lids and bags under my eyes look SO MUCH better.

People tell me I look 10 years younger now (they don't know about the blepharosplasty because it doesn't show at all). Anyway, if you are considering coolsculpting, botox, blepharoplasty or other cosmetic procedure, please check out Dr. Michael Echavez. I'm sure you will be delighted with the results!

Dr. E is awesome. A first-rate practice, always professional and friendly, and really takes care of his patients. I wouldn't take my face anywhere else!

Can't really say enough good about Dr E --- beautiful office of course, but his demenor, expertise and humor makes the visits (and the outcome) among the best in the city. He gives a great assessment (and an honest one) allowing you voice your opinions and desires, but reflects them with an honest assessment -- a great back and forth -- and you end up with what you need --- very fair pricing. There are a lot of choices in the city, but Dr E's the only one I consider.

I had an appointment for some facial laser work at this office with my dermatologist Mike Carls that I made 6-8 weeks in advance. At the time that I made the appointment I asked about the procedure and the recovery time and I was told to call my dermatologists. The office called me to change the appointment 1 week prior which is fine and I had not heard back from my dermatologist so I called him again a day prior to the procedure.

I received a voicemail that he no longer does laser work at this office. I then called the office curious about who was going to do the procedure and they gave me another doctors name. I then asked if anybody there could answer a couple simple questions and nobody was able to do so today. Hmmm, so I am supposed to have a procedure in less than 24 hours by someone I do not know that may take however long with whatever recovery. I don't think so-appointment canceled. Simple communication would have been appreciated.

Good guy who does excellent work. Very competent without being Beverly Hills flashy about it. He can initially come across as being a bit cold, but that's really more a reflection of his low-key nature. Extra points for the fact that his office assistant is very easy on the eyes, too (but won't give me the time of day, probably because I had to put my real age on the paperwork I filled out there). Highly recommended.

Dr. Echavez is friendly, knowledgeable, and does great work. He has a wonderful aesthetic sense and never tries to push you into unnecessary procedures. The restorative work done by Dr. E. has restored my self-esteem and truly improved my life.

Dr. E is very knowledgeable and fair. He doesn't push you to do unnecessary procedures. He has an incredible office location and great staff. He is a creative yet highly professional artist who looks at your whole facial structure and gives you realistic expectations. His gentle kindness is a relief if you are squeamish with injectables. He's the BEST!
