After arriving I was called back to see the Dr just a few minutes after my appointment time. The Nurse was very friendly and very helpful and explained everything that the Dr would be checking. I only had to wait a few minutes in the patient room before Dr Pierce came in. She was very thorough and explained everything. I had several questions which she answered and did not just try to rush to give me a answer.

She answered all my questions and made it easily understandable. She made a very uncomfortable situation a complete non factor. The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Making appointments, the reminders provided and checking in, all are easy and move like clockwork. Dr. Sago is outstanding. She takes the time to explain and asks/answers questions. You feel like she actually cares about you and your health. Very personable. Shares new ideas and findings tailored to your needs. The rest of the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend Dermatology Associates and Dr. Sago.

My experience was very, very pleasant from both office staff and medical. Very professional in every aspect. Both Doctor and Nurses were very knowledgeable in treatment. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to lower the level of anxiety. Carefully explained all procedures and treatment along with future treatment plans and options. I will definitely continue as a patient.

Very pleased with the care my daughter received. the Dr and staff was very professional and had wonderful personalities. You could tell they truly cared for their patients. Would definitely refer them to people and will take my daughter back for further treatment.

Dermatology Associates has friendly and professional staff from the doctors and nurses to the front desk. It's always a pleasant experience going for visits. Dr. Watkins is a wonderful doctor! My family has been going to her for the past 6-7 years. She cares about her patients and listens to their concerns. She treats patients according to their personal needs and desired outcomes. Kingsport is very fortunate to have such a personable and talented dermatologist!

Very convenient being able to pre-register online, that saves so much time and aggravation. The facility was packed when I arrived and I thought I would be in for a long wait. Not so, I was taken back in about 10 minutes. Very courteous and efficient staff. They were able to diagnose my issue quickly and properly explained the use of the medication I was prescribed. If only all medical facilities were this quick and efficient!

Dr. Sanders is one of the most caring physicians I have had. All questions and concerns are addressed with no rush to leave the room. I appreciate the professionalism and the small talk as she takes care of you. A very understanding and kind person as well. Thank you for having her on board!

Denise Whitfield made my experience with Dermatology easy. She showed true compassion and understanding, was thorough in the exam, and took the time to carefully explain and answer questions. I appreciated her care and the staff support. Could not be happier with my experience.

I saw Jenny Barham (nurse practitioner) and she was calm, kind, and present. She took my concerns seriously and treated me with the utmost care. My entire visit, from the time I walked in the door until I checked out to leave, was phenomenal! Excellent service from wonderful people! 10/10 would recommend!

They run a tight ship -- I received reminders of my appointment, an early check-in phone call; the Covid precautions are enforced. Everything is clean. Everyone is pleasant. Wait times are reasonable. Dr. Sago is a cautious, careful, attentive physician with excellent patient communication skills. She shares her knowledge, tips and updates swiftly. She keeps careful records and checks your current markings against earlier photos. I never dread this healthcare checkup.

Well not happy with the fact that they don't take my insurance and they will not let me pay for it out of pocket! Very disappointed with this! I have a place that came up on my leg that could be cancer and they don't care! Super disappointed!

Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Especially Shelly Hilton, nurse practitioner. She is always informative and willing to spend as much time with us as we need. Definitely recommend!

I am leaving this review regarding my unhappy experience with this practice. I went to my scheduled appointment for today and only to be turned away after waiting for 15 min. The lady at the desk stated they did not take my insurance, which is understandable. The lady also proceeded to tell me they had called to tell me this information prior to my appointment but this was untrue.

This office had called to confirm my appointments but never told me my insurance was not accepted. I had also asked if my insurance was accepted at the time I made the appointment and was told yes. I explained to the lady that I understood and wished someone had told me prior to my appointment since I drove 30 min away or more and took off work. The staff member was very rude and only stated some employees do not fully understand which insurances their office accepts.

I also have a friend I work with that has the same insurance and also has a future appointment with them to call and cancel her appointment and when she did they stated to her they do take her insurance and the only reason they did not accept mine was due to I had a secondary insurance they did not accept. This office needs to educate their staff better with patient communication, knowledge of their practice, and establish better bedside manner with patients. I would not recommend this office unless you like negative surprises and to waste valuable time.
