Following residencies in General Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Rainer E. Sachse obtained his plastic surgery training at the world-renowned Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Following his residency, Dr. Sachse accepted an offer to stay on as a faculty member at Duke, where he remained for four years before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Sachse has a passion for providing excellence in patient care. This seems to be the reason why he is consistently voted as one of the best plastic surgeons in Broward County.
Services
If you have realistic expectations for cosmetic surgery and good overall health, you may be an excellent candidate for many of the plastic surgery procedures Dr. Sachse offers. Cosmetic surgery can have a profound impact on your overall appearance, but it can't change your life. If you feel that plastic surgery is the answer to all of life's problems, proceed with caution. As dramatic as the external effects of facelifts, forehead lifts, and skin rejuvenation treatments are, plastic surgery is not a cure-all.
12. Has your surgeon ever been disciplined by the Board of Medicine or had his license suspended? In order to become a plastic surgeon, a physician must complete 4 years of medical school, at least 3 years of a general surgery residency, and at least 2 years of a plastic surgery residency. Fellowships are often done for additional training.
The most commonly requested procedures at Broward Plastic Surgery are Facial Rejuvenation, Body Contouring (especially tummy tucks), Breast Augmentation and Rejuvenation, and, because of Dr. Sachse's expertise in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and reconstruction of the face, the care of skin cancers. Typical procedures in rejuvenation of the face are, lifting the wattles/throat and jowls with a lower face/neck lift; raising the brow to open the upper face and eye area; Blepharoplasty to remove and tighten lax, excess skin from the upper lids and bags and fat deposits from the lower; Otoplasty for the correction of disproportionately large ears; Rhinoplasty to smooth and refine the minor (or major) errors of nature or misfortunes of untimely physical contact, and chin and cheek implants for that longed-for and dreamt-about extreme makeover.
The best patient is a healthy patient. Your state of health and your candidacy for surgery will be determined at the time of consult with Dr. Sachse. Diet, nutrition and weight are addressed as well as what pre-operative tests and medical clearances may be required before your surgery. Pre-operative photos are usually taken for future comparison.

I went there for a tiny extra cartilage I had on my ear about 3 years ago and was extremely satisfied with the Dr. Sachse work! He made it look as if nothing was ever there in the first place and to my surprise the scar is very invisible! I came back just recently to have a big keloid removed from my shoulder and I can honestly say that my healing process I am feeling very happy with!

I highly recommend Dr. Sachse if you are seeking for a good plastic surgeon! Sabrina at the front desk who is also his assistant is very pleasant and nice! Dr. Sachse is honest and will keep it real with you and that's exactly what you should look into when seeking a good plastic surgeon! Thank you guys so much!

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I was going in for a breast reduction consultation and quickly realized he was not the surgeon for me. While examining my breasts he told me that I was an okay size but not to gain any more weight because then that would be unattractive. He also said that a breast reduction isn't necessary for me because smaller boobs wouldn't look good on my broad shoulders and that all the boys probably enjoy playing with my breasts now so I'm fine.

While he did tell me that reduction surgery has a high satisfaction rate, he was only focusing on the bad parts and went through a giant binder of good examples to show me the scarring that would happen. He was very arrogant, but I would recommend Dr. Rooney. she was great, easy to talk to, and understood a woman's problem of large breasts!
