Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Hsu earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles.During his early studies, he developed a keen interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Swallowing is a complex process that changes over time, and swallowing difficulty (dysphagia) can be associated with aging. Aspiration is a medical term for accidentally inhaling your food or liquid through your vocal cords into your airway, instead of swallowing through your food pipe, or esophagus, and into your stomach.
At the time of your visit, our office staff will update our system records to ensure we have current and accurate contact and insurance information. Our physicians and clinical staff will make a detailed review of your current problem and past medical history. If you have a complex problem, please bring copies of your medical records or special tests including the actual CT or MRI scans.

Scheduling Dept is rude, was told go to your primary, went to my primary have a massive fungai bacterial ear infection, she sent a note over asap to get in, called later in day and gal said "not scheduling till dec" I said, what do I do, Dr and ER can't help me, it has to be a ENT. She said "don't know what to tell you" then states go to ER. 3 times I said they can't help me. Done with this office. Called Visalia ENT, told her what happened and I go in tommorrow to get this figured out.

My daughter had broken her nose so I called to make an appointment to get with a specialist. We were able to get an appointment within a couple days. After reading reviews, I was concerned about the office staff and doctors. Everyone we had to deal with was very nice, helpful and professional. Dr. Davies was wonderful, straight and to the point which we liked. We were able to get scheduled for surgery and a post op appointment right away. Dr. Davies did a great job with the surgery. I would not hesitate to go back if needed.

My Dr was great but the office staff is ridiculous! Constantly changing appointment times last minute, blaming other problems on PCP, not refilling medication correctly (caused me to run out of a needed medication twice), etc. In fact I just received a call regarding an appointment I never made! They said my primary made it and was supposed to tell me and that's how it's been for 25 years. Um, no. Every other time my primary referred me CCENT called me to schedule. I'm done with this place.

Had an appt with Dr. Evans since Oct2021. Office states my appt is with another Dr. Jennifer Davies. Who has horrible customer experiences/reviews. Was told Dr. Evans doesn't see anyone with Vertigo. Well that sure would help to know back in Oct. Dr. Evans came highly recommended. It's not a mail appt where I won't like the design. It's a highly rated Dr vs one that isn't. Walked out I'm not interested in anyone who switches without clearing with patient.

Very disappointed with this place. ZERO stars if I was able to. Having the issues I've been having with my ears I thought I was in good hands. Shame on me. I was prescribed 2 ear drops took both (because I was told to by the pharmacist) had a bad reaction later was told by the doctor that I was only supposed to take one. HORRIBLE communication. I was never told that, and you should trust your medical professionals right? Called to let his assistant know what is going on, I have yet to get a call back. Unable to drive and live my life regularly. I will not be going back to them.

I was going to ask my primary doctor to refer me to another place after reading all the negative reviews. It's too bad that some people have had a bad experience, I just don't see how that could be given my experiences every time I go. Everyone there is nice and very efficient. Dr. Davies is great as well as her assistant Leticia. Jodi and her assistant are very personable, kind, and on point with scheduling and communication.

I gave one star because it's required for the post. we were referred by our primary doctor. I should have read the review before we go(obviously all bad experience ). Staff was rude and inpatient while we made appointment through the phone. We called for directions on the day we went, they just repeat the address and hung up. When we finally got to the office, and we were told doctor will not see the patient because we're late! I was like, seriously? They definitely need to work on their customer service if they still want the business.
